Meet Steve and Wayne

For the past 25 years, broker and owner Steve Oliver of Steve Oliver REALTORS® has been using his experience, market knowledge, and reliability to help people sell and buy homes in his beautiful hometown of Odessa, Texas. Steve Oliver is considered one of Odessa, Texas’ most highly regarded realtors because he always puts his clients’ needs first and provides them with a superior level of professional real estate services. Steve has the designations and awards to prove it too: Steve is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and was recognized as a "Texas Real Estate Super Agent" by Texas Monthly.

 In addition to Steve's personal accolades, Steve Oliver REALTORS has been recognized as the “BEST OF THE PERMIAN BASIN” Real Estate Firm by The Odessa American in 2008 and 2009.

Steve Oliver truly enjoys helping people sell their homes and assisting buyers to find the home they absolutely love. He specializes in selling new construction , mid-level and luxury homes and uses dedication, honesty, and reliability to get people the properties that they need. Steve graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) in Odessa, Texas with his BA in 1974 and Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas with his MA in 1978.

Steve Oliver relocated to the Odessa area 30 years ago and refuses to call anywhere else home. When asked why one should buy homes in this area, Steve touts Odessa’s affordable homes, low cost of living, wonderful medical facilities, and its great roads with minimal traffic. Steve enjoys living in Odessa with his wife, Bernadette because this is a town full of friendly people, where both the climate and outlook on life is bright and sunny.

Wayne Dunson may have only been a realtor since 2005, but his roots grow deep in the real estate business. In his own words, “Our family seems to have real estate and ranches in our blood.” Steve Oliver REALTORS® is run by Wayne’s mother and step father, Steve Oliver himself. Wayne attributes the fact that both his step father and mother have been selling real estate since the early 1980’s to helping him gain his wealth of knowledge and experience that he can use in helping his clients. Wayne Dunson also attributes his great knowledge of Odessa’s market to having grown up there. Wayne originally joined Steve Oliver REALTORS® in order to provide help to the family business, but quickly found that his love of buying and selling real estate went well beyond just helping his family. As he says, “Steve Oliver Realtors is a classic example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Each one of us adds something good and positive to the company. When you put the ingredients all together, the result is far beyond anything you might expect. We create results in surprising ways.”

Since Wayne Dunson found his love of buying and selling real estate, he has gained a number of certifications and awards.
